On last Thurday(24/1/2008), I was at the workshop(around the Tampines area) for usuall repair and cleaning the second hand wheelchairs and other aiding items when my phone rang.It was message from my friend wherthe see could meet me at the Tampines in the afternoon as she wouldn't meet me on Saturday morning.(As I had the volunteer on that day.) Since I was there, I told her in message that I would meet her at the MRT station before one o'clock.
So, later in the afternoon, I met her at the MRT station and she passed me over back my camera and the films including the chewing gum.(Uh.... I doubt my other friend had passed back to her as nobody wanted to take pictures together....)Then, she also passed me the blue booklet and a fold card. It was the bibe of the Chistinse. She asked me to read these first as she wanted me to join in the group if I interested. Since then, I read the bibe, at first... I was wonder wherther should I join in now or later. Maybe? Hmmmmm...... After I through about for few days, I found that something maybe too early for me to do now. I mean....do I have to now?? Since I'm freethinker, I rather just leave it as just a case.(After all.... I end up throw that book along with the card away this time as coming the Chinese New Year.)o*o
But it's OK with me now. It's just that I just regrat not to return back to her at all. Sad case for me. T_T

Walk and Talk outing: Chinatown walk
Yesterday(Saturday,26/1/2008) I had the outing with the elderly at the Chinatown area for Chinese New Year.As the last day of the Walk and Talk sessions(WaT) so we brought them to there by bus from the PeaceConner centre.
But as for meeting time at 2:30PM, I missed the train from the Hougang MRT and I was late for the meeting in almost 10 mintures.And I still mangered in time before the department time(which was at 3PM).Anyway, we had a short breath through before panther the elderly first. Later, we had the group photo to be taken before we went to the bus.
This trip took us for awhile to reach the Chinatown from the North Bright as we took the shorter road line.During the trip, we were excited about the Chinatown especially the elderly were quite excited at all.
At last, we had reached the Chinatown. There were soooo..... MANY people down there!! Oh my gosh!! I hoped that we didn't get into that kind of over crown.... 0_0;; I remember that I was told that there were many people there to buy somethings for the Chinese New Year so we had to be in two groups by groups. Since we had the elderlies with us, we took care of them very caution not let them walk on their own.And also we had to take care our bags and their bags as well. Once we drop off from the bus, we had to go into the market liked tent area.I went following the rest of the groups together with the elderlies from one place to the another for the first of one hour. Besides, we went difference places to see items and also interesting places that were selling off, like shoes, clothes, deco items and ever food to eat too!
After a long walk, one of the volunteer and I had to bring both elder ladies for their teatime rigth at the coffee shop.I bought for her a cup of tea, while another had to buy a cup of coffee with bum for another old lady. And both of us just drunk of plain water. Later, volunteer told me that we had to bring them to CK store for the shop so I fine within and went there with them.As we entered the store, we went to downstairs to see what the elder ladies would want.The pair had gone to the one section to buy something, I brought the elderly to the shose section to find her new shose.But.... she didn't find what she wanted and asked me to go back and look for them. By the time we looked for them, eh..... I didn't see them at all. They must gone somewhere out there and I thought that they had gone back on their own so it was best that we wouldn't stay that long now.I went up with her and then exited from the store to go back to the bus.I knew how we came from so I had to trail back to the enterce area. By then, we saw other volunteers and other elderlies all at the stage area.
Before departure, I went quickly to buy some sarcks to eat. After that, I went back and took the short cut back the stage area. Later, we had group photo again on the stage once more before we were leaving back by bus. On the way back then, we were giving the oranges to elderlies and some volunteers were also giving the gifts to them too.Once we reached back the PeaceConner, it was time to say goodbye to the elderlies before we stayed back for the vidoe shot.
Uh....... we were told that we had to say anything in 15 seconds.(Huh? So short?? I wonder why we had to do that....)Anyway....it was great on that day but... kind of very crowned like fish in the ice box.(I heared that there were more people to be crown at evening)><; Well, I enjoyed myself after all and guess what I got from the group for the Wat programme, there were small towel and the toothpaths of couse.(I doubt it was better than getting nothing at all for the particular)

Afternoon shopping with friend at Tampines Park
Today is Thrusday(17/1/2008), and I was slept over time this morning.But....I haven't eat my breakfast yet as for oversleep.-~-
Never mind about it, because I supposed to meet my friend at the Tampines MRT station to pass my camera to one of my friend, saying that she needed this for some picture for the momeny of her Indonesn friend.So, I went off to meet her, name Jenny, to pass camera to her.
When I reached there at MRT station, at first, I didn't see where she gone to. Hmmm..... Maybe she was late, I think.... -_-... After waiting for her awhile, I called her handphone to see where she was, and guess what, she was there just right the control station somewhere near the exter door way.Ok, I saw her now. XE
Anyway, since she was there, I wanted to pass her with my camera but then....AHHH!! I forgot that it didn't have battely within so.... uh.... better went down with her to the photoshop to buy battely and at the same time, buying some films for the camera. Gee....><; Only after that, Jenny was asking me whether I wanted to go to the Tanpines Park for awhile so I had to agree with her for the walk now.She told me that she would meet my friend who was wanting to borrow my camera, at Bishan in the afternoon later.
So now we took the free serving bus to the park and we dropped by at the IKEA store first.As it was lunch time,we had to eat on the second floor, the IKEA cafe and restaurant. I had my meat balls with noodle with potato salade and a cup of hot tea while my friend had also cup of tea as she had the lunch box along. Oh well, that was because she had to learn how to cook otherwise she didn't know what to do if she getting married soon.Eh ah, I doubt she meant that way. ^_^;; After lunch, we went down to walk around at the market hall for awhile before exit out to the BIG supermarket right across from IKEA, the Giant supermarket.... I just went there to buy some items that I need: oat crease and crease drink. But... since this place was very big, now where were they?? My friend and I, myself had to sreach around for them throught I knew that they might be place at scetion no.9 somewhere I think.... Uh.... think again, I better went to ask the staff for the oat crease because I couldn't find where it hell was!! XC Thank goodness one said that it was some where right on top of the shalve which I afread it came only in tin..... Sad case. Better find it at other else where. I just needed it for filling up the bottel of couse....-_-; But the good thing was that I bought the crease drink back home finally... HEE HEE!! >_

Sudden Black Out at Seragoon North
Just happen last Saturday(12/1/2008) it was raining day as usual at my father's shop around the Seragoon North Avenue 1 when suddenly black out after the light strike! Eh..... quite very bad through... I'm afraid.><;;
Around the afternoon( about 4PM I think....) the business were normal as usual when the weather started to rain like cats and dogs.Although nothing seem as bad as the one happen at Orchrand Road and Thomas Road as they were flood with raining water everywhere,just then suddenly the electricity went black out! EEK!! >^<
Well, lucky for everyone, my mum just went up at the top hidded conner to switch on the elecrtcity power. But.... unforturently for her, she had to climb up twice as I said before.Quite mean.....BAD! T-T
Never mind.... It was just an incident we had so far, hopefully that we wouldn't want to end up the same trouble over again ever it was in raining season.X(

Sunday afternoon shopping and dinner at Old Town Road
On last Sunday(13/1/2008) afternoon around at 3PM, we went to the Ajia Road along the Basha Road.( Uh.... somewhere nearby the Bugis Street)And later we had our dinner at the Korean restaurant right before sunset.
In the afternoon, my family and I went down the Aija Road and saw few of the shops were close as it was on Sunday.The only thing was that most of area were pubs and cafes including the eating house were along the road. And there were other shops selling the clothes and other fashion items.So my younger sister and myself went to each of the shop to try some luck for the new year clothes. But most of the shops that we went through were not only that they were selling some clothes that were small size or some that were very nice came only very limited pieces left. So went out together with my parents to go the OG shopping centre to buy new clothes there.(Well.... the shopping centre were full pack like canned fish as it was the New Year sale going on...Never mind about crazy people)
Later, around nearly 6PM, we went down together with my older sister who just joined us later, to the Korean restaurant at the down town area.(mostly near the China Town junction traffic) There were many cars along the street so it was hard to get the parking lot ever in evening weekend as lot people gone the food places to eat. 0_0;
Since we had booked at 6PM before we came down to this place, so we should had early seats. But, it took quite long to get the seats first as there were early people came down right before us.....-_-;;
After we got the table, we ordered the Gingle Chicken soup, BBQ Chicken, and gilled pork with potatoes, mushrooms and onions!! That was yummy!! And what we had besides, were other side dishes to go along with the food; small fish, chill potato, chill radish, kichimte, green spots and green vegetable. Plus we also ordered four bowls of rice. Although we enjoyed ourselves for the dinner, it was good thing to get used of the metal chopsticks and the long spouse for the eating meal.What really surprised me was that this resturant had also served the Korean tea as well like the Fruit Plum Tea that had only just plum jam and hot water together into the cup. And Rice Tea was also one of very own kind of tea that was popular in Korea country.Hmmmm.... I wounder why... -_-?
Anyway, That was all for the family outing and we went back home in the evening.Well.... Maybe next time try some new things out at the Old Town area if I really have plan time to do.o_O

BBQ Party on New Year's Day!!
Last Tuesday(1/1/2008) was the New Year day and my family and I had the BBQ party with some of the friends who were invited for the BBQ.We had the BBQ just right the BBQ pin area in front of the batminttom count.
Before the BBQ, we had to get the key from the town council for on that day. Besides, my mum ordered some meat(mostly chicken),sweet potatos,breads and ever seafood; prawns, cutter fish and caftfish. Then, we had to invite our friends to the BBQ as well including my couisn..... my god!!As for myself,uh.... I only invited few of my friends for the BBQ. HA HA HA!!! Nothing much to say though....^_^;;
On New Year Day, mum brough the ice box for the seafood and chicken and I had to buy a bag of ice from the 7-eleven store. We also brough the wire mass for the pin grill. Just nice, we about to start the BBQ later. Before that, my older sister had to perpar the food first and we had to bring down anything for the BBQ including buckets, cloths, old box and ever hard brush.... for clearing the grill after the party. X)
Just then, the weather became to rain and some of my younger sister friends and ever couisn just came in earily. My friends hadn't there yet so had to bring my handphone down with me and wait for them to come. But...... Uh..... actually they just came in before that so I had to call them to go up instead. after few mintures..... they alrealy there at my place!! So... mix up... XP
Well, I had to go back to my apartment and chatted with them for time bring untill, my dad asked me to go down again with him this time. Well, the raining about to stop soon so we started the BBQ now. Bringing the food would be troublesome to go up and down all through but, thank goodness, some of the guests had helped us to bring things down.Besides that, some others went to shop nearby and bought back the drinks for us. At least six bottles if I not wrong.
During the BBQ, we had chat around with them, had some fun and ever enjoyed the BBQ food untill passed 10PM.We had to clear up the mess and just before that, my elder sister's best friend came in alone quite late as she got things to do earily on. Good thing, there was enough food for her to spread. Soon after bring things back to the apartment, my friends had to go back home. Oh one most thing I ever got from one of them was a present for late Christmas. HA HA HA! How nice.... ^^ I rather treasures them as the friendship and I didn't have any present for them. Well better say good will than nothing at all.
